These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of DCOdes Website, located at https://www.dcodes.com.

These Terms are entered into and agreed to by DCOdes, and its Affiliates (“DCOdes” “We” or “Us”), and all Users and Vendors (as further described below) as a condition of accessing and using those Sites and Services.

Users to whom these Terms and Conditions apply may include, without limitation: potential software buyers, software vendors, software reviewers, application developers, industry insiders and media relations professionals (each a “User” or “You”).

Vendors to whom these Terms and Conditions apply include, without limitation: basic software vendors and/or upgraded or paying software vendors (each, a “Vendor” or “You”).

We reserve the right to update or otherwise modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time. You are responsible for checking these General User Terms periodically for changes and updates. Your use of DCOdes following such posted changes and updates constitutes acceptance of such changes and updates.

BY ACCESSING AND USING DCODES AND ITS SERVICES, YOU ATTEST THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE GENERAL USER TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, THEN YOU SHOULD NOT ACCESS OR USE THIS WEBSITE AND ITS SERVICES.

User Accounts

When creating a User Account, You agree to: (i) provide and keep current accurate and complete information about yourself and your company ("Information"); (ii) maintain the confidentiality of your Account and log-in credentials, if applicable; and (iii) restrict access to all others. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your Account. If We have reasonable grounds to suspect that the information you provide is inaccurate, incomplete or impersonates another person, We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Account. All Information will be stored and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Vendors

Every vendor (basic and promoted) has a User Account and Product Listing, which they are entitled to access and selectively update via the DCOdes Administration Panel.

The DCOdes Administration Panel is a self-service tool that we make available to vendors, who may log in to update and manage their User Accounts and associated Companies and Product Listings.

Unlike User Accounts, which are created by individual users and can be removed at the User’s convenience, Vendor Product Listings are descriptions of vendor’s products (including vendor name & logo, product name & description, screenshots) created by us from publicly available content, vendor contributed modifications and any other content we create or license, which are featured in our online software directories. Vendor shall ensure that the Vendor Content it contributes or approves for its Product Listing, Profile and other Product Information complies with these General Vendor Terms and with the Guidelines for Product Listings. Listed company names are the service marks and trademarks of their respective companies.

We create Product Listings from publicly available information in order to ensure a comprehensive picture of every segment of the software belonging to the Design, Construction and Operation industry. Vendors, in case they own a Product Listing, are entitled to request access to it and upon our review they will be able to access it through the Administration Panel.

Reviews Program

DCOdes is powered by online reviews submitted by verified users of software products, in written format (“User Reviews”). We encourage those who desire to share their experience regarding a software product, service or vendor to submit User Reviews on our Site. You acknowledge and agree that We as the website operator are merely providing a platform for these User Reviews; and that all such User Reviews represent the opinions of the reviewers of those products, services or vendors and not our own opinions. We also provide a service to assist vendors in soliciting reviews from their customers for posting on our Site.

Users cannot post their review anonymously, as there must be sufficient information for our Quality Assurance team to verify their identity before We allow their review to be published.

When participating in our Reviews Program, You (whether a software buyer, vendor or reviewer), acknowledge and agree to adhere to our hereby Terms. These ensure, without limitation, the QA process, the guidelines each review must meet as well as the processes for flagging reviews for investigation and applying penalties. They also outline the protections We put in place to maintain high-quality, trusted reviews, as well as the respective rights of reviewers and vendors. As a neutral content platform, We will only remove reviews that we in our discretion determine do not comply with our Community Guidelines.

User Reviews do not reflect the views and opinions of DCOdes, its agents and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who post their views and opinions. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, DCOdes shall not be liable for the Comments or for any liability, damages or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website.

DCOdes reserves the right to monitor all Comments and to remove any Comments which can be considered inappropriate, offensive or causes breach of these Terms and Conditions.

You warrant and represent that:

You are entitled to post reviews on our website and have all necessary licenses and consents to do so;
The reviews do not invade any intellectual property right, including without limitation copyright, patent or trademark of any third party;
The reviews do not contain any defamatory, libellous, offensive, indecent or otherwise unlawful material which is an invasion of privacy
The reviews will not be used to solicit or promote business or custom or present commercial activities or unlawful activity.

Watchlist

All User Accounts are allowed to maintain their Watchlist which enables them to group software categories, products, Vendors and Scripts and maintain a listing of their preferences. You will find it on DCOdes Administration Panel under your edit profile page. You are the only one with access to it, when logged in to your account and you may add or remove entries as you see fit.

User Accounts may also add/remove entries from their Watchlist by visiting Software or Company Listing pages.

Newsletter

By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to receive emails from DCOdes. The aim of our newsletter service is to keep our users updated about app resources and news articles matching their Watchlist preferences. The subscription to our newsletter service is not mandatory. The frequency of the newsletter will be once per month.

We reserve the sole right to either modify or discontinue the newsletter, at any time with or without notice to you. We will not be liable to you or any third party should we exercise such right. Any new features that augment or enhance the then-current services on this site shall also be subject to these terms of use. We reserve the sole right to unsubscribe users/ visitors from our newsletter service without notice. We will do so with any subscriber we deem registered with fake data.

Upon registration, you will receive an email confirming your user account and subscription. You have the right to remove yourself from the newsletter subscription list at any time. This can either be done through a link at the bottom of newsletter emails, or, by editing your profile information on the DCOdes Administration Panel.

We employ the use of cookies. By accessing DCOdes, you agreed to use cookies in agreement with the DCOdes Privacy Policy. Most interactive websites use cookies to let us retrieve the user’s details for each visit. Unless otherwise stated, DCOdes and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on DCOdes. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from DCOdes for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from DCOdes

You hereby grant DCOdes a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit and authorize others to use, reproduce and edit any of your Comments in any and all forms, formats or media.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

At DCOdes.io, we provide sponsorships, and advertising opportunities to help developers and businesses streamline their processes. Please review our refund and cancellation policy before purchasing any services or products.

1. Subscriptions & Service Payments

All subscriptions and service payments are billed on an annual basis and must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
Payments cover the agreed-upon service period and are non-transferable.
Prices are subject to change, but customers will be notified of any price changes in advance.

2. Unused Service Credits

Service credits (e.g. News Item Promotion) do not expire and can be used at any time during the active subscription period.
If a customer requests a refund for unused service credits, the corresponding credits will be removed from their account, and a refund will be issued for the unused portion.
Once credits have been used for any service or feature, they cannot be refunded.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time before the next billing cycle, but the current subscription period will remain active until the end of that billing cycle.
Refunds are available within 30 days from the date of the sponsorship purchase. If a refund request is made within this period, a partial refund will be issued, based on how long the services have been used, and the sponsorship benefits will be revoked.
After the 30-day refund window, no refunds will be issued for sponsorships or advertising services, as the promotional placement or benefits may have already been activated or used.
If a user cancels before the renewal date, they will not be charged for the next billing cycle.

4. Modifications & Upgrades

Users may request to upgrade or downgrade their service or subscription at any time by paying the difference or adjusting the billing cycle accordingly.
Upgrades will take effect immediately, while downgrades will apply to the next billing cycle.

5. Refunds & Special Cases

Refunds are not available for sponsorships or credits that have been activated.
In cases where DCodes.io is unable to fulfil an order or service due to unforeseen circumstances, we may offer a credit or partial refund at our discretion.
