Description

LOGitEASY's web-based soil logging and boring log software (LOGitEASY eForm) is usable both in the field and in the office for transferring field notes. Once the data is entered into the software, logs can be produced in a variety of templates, including LOGitEASY, gINT, LogPlot, and other. Digital data files can also be downloaded from the software for use in other boring log programs. Once boring logs are finalized, they can be viewed on a geographic map and used to create free geologic cross sections online. You can also create Site Plans including the completed boring locations and additional site features (hand drawn or surveyed), and Site Location Maps online. LOGitEASY's boring log software is available in Free and Premium (pay-as-you-go, pre-paid log block, and annual subscription) versions.

 

LOGitEASY's boring log drafting services convert handwritten field notes or historic logs into gINT, LogPlot, or custom template logs. Drafting services are available on standard and rush turnaround times, and are priced on a pay-as-you-go basis.

LOGitEASY - Boring Logs. Exciting Possibilities!

LOGitEASY Munsell Calculator for those of you that record only the Munsell color notation (code) in the field when describing soil color, but that require the soil color name in the soil description when preparing boring and test pit logs.

USCS Calculator for those of you that classify soil according to the ASTM Visual-Manual Procedure (ASTM-D2488) and record only the percentage of gravel, sand, and fines in the field, without the soil group name and symbol. The USCS Calculator allows you to determine the soil group name and symbol from your field data, for use in soil descriptions when preparing boring and test pit logs.
